A Fuente Estate Coffee is made using world-famous, Yauco Selecto specialty coffee beans. These beans come from the southwestern mountains of the U.S. Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Elevations of 3000+ feet above the Caribbean Sea give Yauco Selecto coffee its distinct character. Over 100 inches of rain per year make the land fertile ground for the lower yield, higher quality arabica trees. To ensure freshness, the hand-picked beans are stored in their shells until ready for use.
The coffee is full bodied with a creamy-almost buttery-flavor. It has an arresting aftertaste and a hint of chocolate undertones. Fuente coffee is also available in regular roast ground or whole bean in the following varieties:
